Wild Heart has always been mission-driven, as shared in the story of the last 60 seconds Kevin and Lauri had with their mum, which years later became the inspiration for Wild Heart. The part of the story we hadn't shared yet, are the decades she struggled with profound addiction and mental health issues.
1 in 5 Canadians will experience a mental health issue in any normal year, even before the pandemic. This means most of us will likely have many stories - our family included - for how mental health has touched our lives.
This is why we’re committed to donating 10% going forward to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). It’s national yet community-driven, inclusive, and they have a bold vision to create a Canada where mental health is a universal human right.
